My gf's two Norwegian forest cats, Izzie and "Charlie-of-epic-whiskers" frequently appear here as they are very photogenic. They also like Amazon boxes- preferably ones that are somewhat too small - and she has dozens of pics of them occupying said boxes. This one surprised even me, though.

Better than in the wall. Posting a meme as the YouTube link to the Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode would get me gigged for language. :). I learn, slowly but eventually ;).

Cats
The pictures of your feline friends really tickle my funny bone. I, too, admire cats.
My immediate family, was blessed by only one cat, named Andrew. I was adopted by him, under unusual circumstances. He lost his friends; several riding horses, in a barn, owned by neighbors behind our house He carefully observed me before judging me worthy of his trust, and love, before he adopted me. Andrew, was a large calico tom cat, which is in itself unusual. He only entered our home, to, occasionally, share my lap in a recliner. He tolerated my friends, and family. All went well for a short time until a carless neighbor, 'accidentally' shot and killed, my beloved Andrew.
Many pleasant tender stories, are told about our feline pets, but there are also stories, of terrible, unforgivable things done to cats, in 'the good old days', I frequently say that I prefer, those days, but they were'n.t all good. I won't get specific, but the geezers on the forum will get my meaning

Not just "back in the old days", unfortunately :(

I ran actoss this story this morning about a fellow in Louisiana who was "ambushed" by a bunch of kittens when he stopped - en route to the shooting range! - to rescue a tiny kitten.

Man stops to save kitten — but ends up with over 10. Watch adorable Louisiana 'ambush'

"...Oh my gosh!" he can be heard shouting excitedly in the video. "I can't take y'all. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh, there's more! We got a kitten problem."...

Weird cat

I have been observing my next-door neighbor's, kitten, a nearly full-grown grown cat., gender unknown. This kitten is the weirdest cat that I've ever watched at play. It is able to run, head first, up and down a large tree, at full speed, most cats, after climbing a tree sit and wait to be rescued, or shinny down the tree backwards. Not this one, It' full speed headfirst. I've yet to see it play in a box.

Definitely unusual. I "acquired" my black cat, Smudge, as a 4 mo. old kitten in 2015 after he had been scared up a tall tree in a storm. Stuck up there for a couple of days, meowing piteously. As the neighbours and I and the Fire Dept. (who couldn't get to the tree) were wondering how to get him down, he JUMPED! Floated to the ground, unhurt, and scampered off to the barn next door which he had called home.

Turned out OK for both of us :D

Shortly after adopting him:

Now a mature 7 y.o, he even does Wordle:
