Cats
The pictures of your feline friends really tickle my funny bone. I, too, admire cats.
My immediate family, was blessed by only one cat, named Andrew. I was adopted by him, under unusual circumstances. He lost his friends; several riding horses, in a barn, owned by neighbors behind our house He carefully observed me before judging me worthy of his trust, and love, before he adopted me. Andrew, was a large calico tom cat, which is in itself unusual. He only entered our home, to, occasionally, share my lap in a recliner. He tolerated my friends, and family. All went well for a short time until a carless neighbor, 'accidentally' shot and killed, my beloved Andrew.
Many pleasant tender stories, are told about our feline pets, but there are also stories, of terrible, unforgivable things done to cats, in 'the good old days', I frequently say that I prefer, those days, but they were'n.t all good. I won't get specific, but the geezers on the forum will get my meaning
