Default What's the deal with Cylinder & Slide?

I was gonna order a part for one of my Hi-Powers but C&S seems to be out of a lot of stuff. Brownells was out too.
I seem to recall something about the owner retired and they were going out of business? What's the scoop?

Owner retiring and going out of business. No new parts other than what was in the pipeline.

That's a shame. They made top of the line stuff.
Luckily Midway still had what I was after. So I'm good this time.

I read that the owner was retiring and the shop was closing. But now an agreement has been made to keep it open under a new owner.

Hoping a New owner will take over. He had some talented employees, the products can be made. (and perhaps Bill would get a cut of it).

Hopefully, someone buys C&S and keeps it going. Always sad to see a good business go out, due to an owner retiring.
