S&w 952 Long Slide Deal?

My LGS has a S&W 952 Long Slide on "sale" for $1689...is the a "deal" for this pistol? It is beautiful and has a wonderful trigger.

Around my area that would be about $100 to $200 off the price of a NIB gun. IMHO it would be a fair used price if the gun is pristine.

I have the 5" model and its a great gun and very accurate if you reload what it likes..

I think the long slide MSRP is about 24 or $2500 and even at 20% off of new your price is VERY attractive if its as good as you indicate!

There were two longslides made, one standard and one heavy. They haven't made a run of either for a couple of years now and it's hard to tell when they might make another, so if you want one better grab it.
