May have already been addressed, if so, apologies.
I have read on here that a number of people have replaced the 2.0 spring for various reasons.
First question is: What seems to be the main reason for replacement? Did the original actually cause a problem or was it mainly for a precaution for what it appears what might happen with the original.
#2 Did it make a difference. If so, how?
#3 The original has two springs; one inside the other. I am assuming (I know about assumptions) that the reason for the two springs is to help tame recoil. Does the new spring also have two springs (the pics I have seen seem to show only one); and if so, does the recoil increase with the new spring (again, assuming it is one spring).
Thanks in advance.

I've got the new Galloway rod, nothing was wrong with my OEM. I wanted a better finished look but it's only a tad better look wise. Anyway, there's issues with OEM but it's an easy fix if you know what you're looking for. I'll be shooting 250 rounds tomorrow, not expecting any issues with new rod, it's stiffer than OEM, at least in my case.
