This morning at local pawn shop saw dumb For Sale

Air Compressors with no hoses.

As useless as a 45 auto without a magazine.

The pawn shop probably decided to sell the compressor and hoses separately to make more money.

From a pawn shop...that means the thief that the shop owner bought from didn't steal the hose.

I didn’t know an air compressor was supposed to come with a hose. Most people by a separate hose of a type and length to fit their application.

I think it would be normal to sell a compressor with no hoses at a pawn shop. Or any store. Last summer I replaced my 30 yr old Craftsman and new one did not come with a hose. If I bought a drill at a pawn shop especially, I wouldn’t expect bits to come with it. It’s a second hand store where you get deals.

I'm on my fourth compressor and not one of them came with a hose. My son purchased a hose for his pancake compressor from Harbor Freight, good enough for his use.

In the last twenty or so years I have bought three new compressors from local big box stores. None came with hoses.

As said above several times..... I have purchased several large compressors, none of which came with hoses.

Depending what size HP, I would appreciate an air dryer more than a hose.

As already mentioned, new compressors don't come with hoses. You plumb it to suit your needs.
No reason a pawn shop compressor should be any different.
If you want it come with a hose, buy used from an individual.
