I consider myself forum- savy but I can't figure out how to post large pics in the body of my threads. On all my other forums it automatically does this but here they seem to default as thumb nails.

I searched but didn't find anything. I tried to pose this question in the "Rules, Terms, Info" section but am not allowed to post there.

Can anyone give me a simple answer or send me to a thread explaining this?

Thank you,
Max

Glen beat me, but I do it a bit differently, see what works for you.

Upload pic using Manage Attachments, after upload, right click on the uploaded file name.
attachment.php

Copy Link Address
Then use the image tag
.

You can embed it
attachment.php
in your text if you want.

Hmm, not working. I really gotta say, on most other forums this is super-simple.

I’m an amateur having just learned how myself so pardon me if this is redundant. I just put pics in my album here in forum then copy and paste from album to the body of post.

I think I'm doing what the first two responders said, but it just keeps putting a small thumbnail in the post. Looking to put larger pics so I gan write good reviews w/ pics. I'm a decent photographer and have no issues attaching large pics on my other forums (RX7club.com, shotgunworld.com, badgerandblade.com, etc).

Album? How do I access that? When I hear of album I think of photobucket or flicker, which we all stopped using 15-20 years ago.

The forum says I don't have permission to start an album. Thanks for the input guys. I'll keep trying but usually I just stop posting when I run into "1990's tech" forums. I'll look for an AOL disc and try again.

I'm a sucker, and my method is that: I open a new page on the site Postimage. There I load my pic, then I select the format for forums, then I put it on the text of the post.

I drag the pics that I want to post from my Photos to my Desktop. In my post, I scroll down below the text box to "Additional Options", "Attach Files", and select "Manage Attachments". When the "Manage Attachment" window pops up, browse for your pics (you can post up to 5 pics per post), select them, and when they appear in the "Manage Attachments" window...select "Upload". When you Preview Post, your text and photos will appear.

Agree. That’s as advanced as I can get.
At 74, technology and I don’t exchange Christmas cards!

Once you copy the link you need to use the "insert image" button to paste the link. It's the one with the mountain and the sun in the toolbar when composing.
