Went to the Ahern show today. Attendance seemed thin. Maybe the show is too close to Christmas and New Year. Gun tables seemed less than last time. Gun prices seemed high to me, especially on used guns compared with what I saw in Texas recently. Some prices were about market, but others were nuts, I mean, who sells Caniks at more than MSRP.
S&W 66-1 with 2 speedloaders. Nice condition, $725
CZ P-10S, $600 (joke of the day, I think)
Sig 1911 Target, used, $875
Glock 34, used, $450.
S&W FPC, new, $650
S&W Response, new, $750
S&W 686 4", marked for Alameda Police, nice shape, $895
S&W Shield Plus, new, $550. Not sure if it was the optics ready variant. If so, that's MSRP. If not, it's a rip off.
Semi-auto pistols with barrels longer than 4" seem hard to move.
Milsurps prices were nuts.
Argy Mauser 1891, oddly polished in places, $545
Albanian SKS, $900
Mosin 91/30, refurb, not a special year, $450
M1 Garand, described as original 1943 all matching, in an aftermarket laminate stock, reduced to $2k. (Straight face award)
Chinese SKS rifles in cosmo, $565 to $785
Enfield No4 Mk1, FTR 43 (I think), Turkish provenance, $550. Forgot to check if the bolt matched.
US Model of 1917 rifle, stock sanded to death, $900
US Model 1903A3 rifle, replacement stock IMHO, $1100.
Arisaka Type 38 carbine, intact mum, Nagoya arsenal, $1050
