I am have been wanting another M1911. Just to plink with and and nothing fancy. Was looking at some Rock Island Ma911 but the other day a co-worker at the gun shop traded in his slightly used High Standard GI Model. He got it used at the shop and only put one mag through it. The frame is made on the Phillipines. It is a nice tight gun and I think very well made.
Any one have one and could share some more info? I checked out High Standards web page and it seems these are now all made in the USA.
