    Value of a M29-2

    Mine was NIB, 1981, 29-2, Walnut box, cleaning rod, brass brush, cotton tip swab, and screwdriver for around $800. Grips have month and date stamped in blue ink inside right panel, Walnut Box has same month and date stamped inside the lining, serial number is N 8627XX.

    model 29 question

    My 29-2 and previous year(s) 29s have the date stamped inside one of the panels (right) in blue ink. Month and Year. I think this became standard at some point early in the SW history.
