Don't know if this helps, but I have been there and done that. I have always carried my model 36 or 60 as BUG's.In twenty five years on the street I only had to use it once, and it functioned as specified.BG down never to get up, I went home with just cuts and bruises, but I went home :)

I use them all the time in my 40 cal. Never had any problems.Seems to clean the bore better.

What do they say about a armed society being a polite society. When I was on the streets, almost everyone that I had contact with was armed and had a permit.

Glad I live in Alabama. All you have to do is buy the gun and after the federal check ,about 10 minutes or so, walk out with your weapon. The permit process is about as short. Usually you just fill out the paperwork and pay the fee $7.00 to &20.00 depending on the county you live in and 2 or 3...
