I finally got a chance to take the Sport out after work today. It really sucks, I have nothing to gripe about. ;) The Sport was flawless. I installed an H2 buffer in it, I'm not sure it reduced the recoil any, but the ejection could not have been more perfect. About 5 feet away at 3:30, all in an 18" circle. The Primary Arms 30mm red dot took no effort to zero. I just adjusted the dot to the tip of the front sight, and the first shot was dead on. Aside from upgrading the trigger, I'm hard pressed to think of anything to make it better. Don't you just hate when they're perfect? :D

The army trains at targets 5 feet away??????????? No wonder why we're losing the battle.

"We're loosing the battle" can be attributed to our political leaders not the well trained and dedicated front line troops.
I sight at 50 and find my AR's will shoot well enough to dispatch a dirt clod out to 100 yards. The one with hog hunting night vision is set for dead center at 100 and a 55 gr. FMJ WILL knock 300 pounds of stinky animal off it's feet.

My post was obviously a joke.
I would wager that stmry's post (5 feet) followed suit.

I would also wager that the Marine Corps is the only group who qualifies out to 400 meters, with the M4.
Take that, Army! ;)

I can still see 500 meters for target acquisition but where did the sights go? Can't knock the Marines, they were always there ahead of us!

That's because they came in off the water and took the short cut from the beach :) We had to walk or go down those bad dirt roads. :)

Just give it time.....;)

You guys are funny! :D I won't bad mouth anybody, my Dad and youngest brother were Marines, Uncles in the Air Force, Cousin in the Navy, and I did my 20+ in the Army. When I was in, we qualified out to 300 M with the old 16A1's, but I shot matches out to 600 M. It's been a few years since my days, so I'm not sure what anybody qualifies at these days.

For the record, the ejection was about 5', the target was closer to 50 yards. I know it's tough to believe an old guy can see that far, but it happens (on good days).

I saw a lot of military insignia in your post, Thanks to all of you for your service. I just feel that can't be said enough.

Good Luck and good shooting.
