Model 25-15

Just got a model 25-15 6 inch in trade. The information I have says it was made in 2008. I have the box and all the factory stuff. My question is did Smith make a titanium model 25. I can't find much information on this. For a mod 25 this gun is a lot lighter than some of my other mod 25's.

Your gun is all steel. You are correct that it is lighter than the Model 1955 25-5's of the past. It's because the 25-15 has a much lighter tapered barrel. Makes it point very nicely in my opinion.

My question is did Smith make a titanium model 25.

Not a M25 but they did make a M625-10 & -11 with a Scandium frame & Titanium cylinder...in a 2" bbl.

Also Sc+Ti 325PD's in various barrel lengths.

Congrats on the -15! You are sure to enjoy the way it shoots. I have 1 from the same time frame. All I did to mine, was to install older S&W target stocks. Like the feel & profile much better. Bob
