    As a guy that owns and carries both, here is my two cents... Compact 4" is easier to shoot and manipulate and will have less felt recoil given it's mass. The longer slide makes for an increased sight radius and longer barrel makes for increased velocity and kinetic energy. It also holds 15+1...

    PPQ vs M&P 5" 2.0 9mm

    PPQ has the better trigger without question. Both grips are very ergonomic, but M&P 2.0 has the better texture (for me). M&P 2.0 will probably have the edge in the aftermarket over the PPQ. That said, Combat Pistol: M&P. Race Gun: PPQ (Q5).

    Someone in the S&W subforum of AR15.com said that he was told by a S&W rep at SHOT that the 2.0 CORE (and Black 5" 2 .0) were expected to drop this Spring. Hopefully that is true.

    Tactical holster for M&P 2.0 5"???

    I acquired a Safariland 6390-8192 ALS holster for real cheap that I used to cobble together a tactical drop leg rig. I believe it is for the gen 1 5" M&P with a light, but no reason it shouldn't work with the 5" 2.0. So far it works on my full size and compact M&P9 2.0s with a Streamlight TLR-1HL.

    M&P 45

    If that is a private party sale (without taxes, background check fee, etc.) you need to jump on that immediately! That is a good price, just a few bucks above LE price. M&P45 2.0 is better than the original for the improved trigger, improved grip texture, and extended stainless steel chassis.
