    Lost sear spring on 686-6

I believe you're referring to the double-action sear, rather than the trigger sear... Next time you might stuff the whole rig into a gallon-size Ziploc bag or whatever before actuating a gun's lockwork with any sideplate removed. I've had stuff fly across my workspace. I know how frustrating...

    .44 Special - Model 696-1 - Actions by "T" / Teddy Jacobson

kraynky, go ahead! I love that stuff. Little over three weeks, but both LEO and then local customers have priority. Give him a call! :)

Picked up My New S&W 629-6

Nice shootin! Glad to hear you like the gun. I have my eye on a 5" 629 Classic, but there are three other whirlenpoppers in line before it, and with being limited to CA's "1 in 30" handgun law, it'll be summer before it comes home.

    .44 Special - Model 696-1 - Actions by "T" / Teddy Jacobson

. Thanks, fellas! In addition to the modification to SAO (and, again, only for transfer), and although these guns were known to have a pretty smooth action from the factory, I wanted a good 'smith to simply look it over and correct any issues, if necessary. During his check of the trigger...

What happened to the M69 Snub

That EMP Contour Carry with the 4" Commander-length/proportion slide... if it ever makes it onto the California DOJ "Safe" Handguns Roster, that is, will be the sole reason that the 9mm Parabellum cartridge would ever darken the threshold of my ammo cabinet. What a great little gun...

Greetings! Small but growing S&W collection - Photos added

. Thanks again, fellers! for the welcome. After a couple of months' time, three FFLs (one of which is a gunsmith in Texas) my Model 696-1 is home in California, but in a 10-day quarantine... meanwhile, here are a few cellphone pictures. Teddy Jacobson/Actions by "T" in Sugar Land, TX...

    .44 Special - Model 696-1 - Actions by "T" / Teddy Jacobson

. I purchased this S&W Model 696-1 from a seller on the east coast. While reading some Taffin, I learned of gunsmith Teddy Jacobson in Sugar Land, Texas, who had done some work on John's .44 Special 696. I wanted the gun looked over and any issues corrected. I also needed the gun temporarily...

    TEDDY JACOBSON

MY CALIFORNIA FFL JUST RECEIVED A MODEL 696 FROM TEDDY... and I have pictures! to tide me over while I endure the 10-day waiting period. I had purchased the gun from a seller on the east coast, and needed, among other things, the removal of the DA sear so that this "off Roster" handgun could...

    351PD with “Lip Grip"

^ ^ ^ That's crazy talk! The only reason to shoot .357 from that gun is to demonstrate to shooters of the big-bore handguns what REAL recoil is like... hee. What's your preferred load?

    351PD with “Lip Grip"

Interesting. I might be on board with this if I knew what the lip was for... part of the holstered retention, maybe? Forgive me. As an owner of a 351PD, I will concur with the gun's light weight and 7-shot capacity of fire-breathing .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire greatness! A highly underrated...
