RECENTLY I SENT OUT MY NEW SMITH WESSON 340 PD WITH NO INTERNAL LOCK TO TEDDY JACOBSON. I WANTED TO HAVE SOME OF HIS WORK IN MY COLLECTION. HE DID ONE OF HIS WORLD FAMOUS ACTION JOBS FOR STREET CARRY JEWELED ALL THE INTERNALS ETC PLUS REPLACED THE FIRING PIN WITH A LONGER ONE AND WOLF SPRINGS. GREAT JOB AND EASY TO WORK WITH TEDDY. THE SW 340 FIRES ALL TYPES OF AMMO NO PROBLEMS. TEDDY IS A GOOD MAN GREAT ACTION WORK AND SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE HE SHARES I CAN TALK TO HIM FOR DAYS. IF ANYONE LOVES A GREAT ACTION JOB I WOULD HAVE TO SAY GIVE TEDDY A CALL SOMETIMES HE GETS VERY BUSY BUT HE WILL EMAIL YOU BACK OR CALL YOU AS SOON AS HE CAN. I WAS WORRIED THAT SOMETIMES HE GETS BUSY AND MIGHT NOT DO THE JOB BUT HE SAID NO PROBLEM HE WOULD FIND THE TIME FOR ME VERY GOOD PERSON AND DOES NOT CHARGE A LOT OF MONEY.

Teddy did a NAA Guardian (380) and 351C for me (22mag). He did a superb job on both guns. Highly recommended, especially for carry guns.

MY CALIFORNIA FFL JUST RECEIVED A MODEL 696 FROM TEDDY... and I have pictures! to tide me over while I endure the 10-day waiting period.

I had purchased the gun from a seller on the east coast, and needed, among other things, the removal of the DA sear so that this "off Roster" handgun could be transferred to me here in California. Long story... but once I take possession I can install the sear, the spring and have DA function again. The transfer as SAO is a technicality.

Bottom line, his work is fantastic. I'm about to post a thread with a few photos. I will title it: Actions by "T" Model 696-1. He's a nice man, an artist, a superb machinist and a saint. We are fortunate he is only semi-retired.

I have used Mr. Jacobson in the past for my 432PD action work. I highly recommend him and his work. I will not hesitate to use him again should I have need similar needs in the future.

I think Teddy is great and have talked about him a few times in this forum. If he can't call you with an update, his wife will. He worked on my 642 and took a lousy 13.5 lb trigger to a smooth 8 lb trigger. I also had him bevel and polish the trigger, which is now glass smooth and feels great on the finger. He also did some free jeweling on the front and back of the cylinder. On the 6906, besides the great trigger job, he polished the feed ramp like a mirror. I have 3 more guns to send to him once I have the money saved. Teddy is also great to just call and talk to, he can go on and on, when he isn't busy.
