Hello all,
I would like one of these. I already have 686/642. Do you have to OR is it better to use moonclips with N frames? I like the NG310. I handled a NG325 and it appeared you didn't need to use moonclips. I'm still learning, any input would be appreciated.

I love my 642 w/ ct. It has taught me more about how I shoot b/c of the light shaking or the fact that when i squeeze the trigger the light jumps 2inches(on target) to the right. That's enough to miss. Great teaching tool. The manual says adjust it to 50 ft, but for me 20ft seems more appropriate.
I've had a 640 and now have a 642. I wanted the .357 option but the 640 was not fun with them. The 642 is A LOT lighter to carry and I love the crimson tracer. It is a pleasure with .38s or +p's. I would go 642 or 442. I carry at 1 o'clock IWB pretty comfortably but have ordered a Mika pocket...
I had a 6 shot before getting a 7 shot, sold the 6 shot. I like the 7 better. Personal preference. The 6 was a -3, the 7 is a -6. The 6 was w/o a lock and firing pin on the hammer. The -6 has a lock and a flat hammer. I like the -6 better.
