Does anyone make a grip similiar to the CT LG405 for a 642 J frame? (without the laser etc...)

I am looking for a small boot grip but with some coverage on the backstrap to increase the LOP.

I got the idea of cutting down a set of Uncle Mikes Combat grips into boot grips here on the forum, This gives what your looking for, Covered backstrap & a small enough to carry boot style grip. I've also seen a Taurus Model 85C grip recontoured to fit the S&W J Frame that looked pretty good too..
If you'd like to try the cut down combats There in my grip storage container..
Here's a few pics I found of the grip on my 342Ti, Note there's metal on the inside of these grips, I cold blued the exsposed part..
Here's the link to the original thread were I got the Idea from WHEELGUNNER 357..

I did the same thing as Headknocker. I bought a pair of used grips for $10 and cut them down almost flush with the bottom of the grip. They cover the back strap and feel better than the standard boot grip. Might be worth a try.
