where do you get firearms values?

I usually check gunbroker. Then add 10% and expect to pay that at a gun show or local shop. Sometimes I check manufacturers websites. Then subtract 10-20% from msrp and expect that locally.

Problem Older Gent at Our Club Range

If he's demanding people leave property he has no ownership in, then brandishing his firearm and using it in a threatening demeanor he needs to be put away. Otherwise it sounds like he'll take it too far and get put down. It sounds like he's still a member himself. That should be removed. Then...

    SS 9mm full size

Thanks guys. I really like the 39/639/3906. Seems like what I'm looking for. Now to go find one. They seem fairly rare. They are all SA/DA right? I seem to have an inability to find basic specs list of them. I just don't want DAO.

    SS 9mm full size

Well I'm not sure where to begin research on steel framed S&W autos so I thought I'd ask for some help. I'm interested in a full size 9mm with preferably all stainless steel. Can anyone tell me some model numbers I can look up? Google searches just seem to show me sigmas and M&Ps.

    New M&P 9C mag question

I use a cheap Glock loader. They're like $5, uplulas are good but I'm picky on the prices. If 5 bucks does the job why spent 30? And 7 round mag? You got ripped. Unless you're talking about 17round mags with xgrips. The standard 12rounds compact mags are a pain to load by hand for the first few...

    Adding a slide saftey?

Odd to have an AD while holstering. ND sounds more like it. Not everyone is under the same stress as cops. My gun only leaves the holster for firing. I'm not arguing against manual safeties, just arguing they're not for everyone or every gun. Yes, 1911+safety I love. That 4# trigger with no...

ID required to look at a gun?

Never heard of this. I'm 21 and I look more like 18. I've held guns at a plenty of gun and pawn shops and never been asked my age or ID. I do have to show my ID to purchase ammo. I live in GA. 21 for handguns and ammo, 18 for long guns and ammo, 18 to "posses" a handgun. I believe you might...

    M&P 9C as a Carry Gun

Too much for pocket carry but works well IWB. The Ruger LC9 is probably what I'd go with for pocket carry. 380s feel too small to me. I do love my 9c for IWB carry though.

    Adding a slide saftey?

Just preference. My hands are small so it's awkward to disengage the safety. The safety kept disengaging in the holster anyway so it wasn't serving much purpose.

    Adding a slide saftey?

Removing/adding the safety is a simple 10 min procedure that can be done with the take down tool. If it's got the cutout in the frame for a safety I suspect it originally had one. You should be able to order the safety from S&W. I watched a YouTube video to remove mine.

    Perfect IWB for M&P9c

I like the white hat maxtuck. (same as cbst). But often I wear a Don Hume iwb I picked up when I first got my 9c. Single clip is easier to get on/off quickly and I prefer my gun stay holstered when removing it. The maxtuck is more comfortable and tuckable. But the Hume disappears in the right...

    Questions Re. Thumb Safety M&P's

If you want the CT and thumb safety, you'll need to chop off the safety lever on one side. The safety will work fine still. Unless you order a CT model from S&W, with the thumb safety option. That should already be chopped.

    Questions Re. Thumb Safety M&P's

I bought my 9c with the safety. Didn't like it, luckily it takes 10mins to remove it. Racking the slide knocked the safety off, it also felt awkward for me to engage/disengage, my holster would knock the safety off too. But I'd say go with the safety since it's simple to remove if you decide you...

    M&P 9mm Speed loader suggestions ???

I just borrowed indefinitely my friends glock loader. Works great.

    M&P .45 w/ Thumb safety

I'm sure ill have a 1911 as my next handgun purchase. I've never shot one, but I love the weight and feel of them. I liked the springfield and Kimber 1911s, they were just a bit out of budget for my first purchase. But I also loved my M&P when I first shot it. And it conceals great.
