    Why no 3953 Love?

Just picked up a 3953! Plenty love here! I shoot revolvers better DA than any other pistols, so it was a natural for me. Gave my 3913NL to my dad. Now, if I could find a good AIWB holster I’d be set!

    36 no dash....question

Probably won’t have it lettered, and I’ve got plenty of ammo to run through it...Lol

    36 no dash....question

I picked up a model 36 no dash, today. Square butt, serial #6174xx. I pulled the grips and they are numbered to the gun, but I noticed one thing I’ve never seen before....Both grips have a clearly stamped USQ on them. Anyone have any info on this? More info on pistol (I don’t have...

    Aftermarket sights for 3913?

Is the 5906 front sight shorter or taller that the original sight on the 39xx guns?

3913LS vs 3913 felt recoil, length, etc.

My dad and I were shooting his 3913NL a couple weeks. We both commented on how soft it shot, with out a lot of muzzle rise. This was after firing my Beretta 92, which is a smooth and easy shooting because of it size. Found and purchased a 3953, today, and expect it will be much the same I...

    S&W 1911 Gunsite Edition

Icemn...will do. Don't have it in my hands yet. I just thought someone may know offhand.

    S&W 1911 Gunsite Edition

Holster wear is minimal, slight edge wear at muzzle end of the slide...thing that bummed me out is that there was no box. Can pick it up for $550, which seems reasonable. Would this model have the firing pin safety?

    S&W 1911 Gunsite Edition

I’ve only owned one 1911, along time ago, and it was a stainless S&W. I’ve been thinking of adding a 1911 to my collection, and stumbled across a Gunsite Edition. Anyone know the value of one like this in good condition? Slight holster wear, but otherwise in good condition, no box. Thanks...

    629-3 questions

I picked up a super nice 629-3 Classic DX with 6.5" barrel for a very reasonable price. Were these pre-MIM parts? What years were the -3 made? I also read these came with wood and rubber grips. Any idea what the wood grips would have looked like? The grips on it look to be Hogue laminate...

    Why choose a model 67 over a 66?

When I want to shoot 38spl, I want it to be out of a 38spl...lol. I do love the 19/66 and have owned many. The last few years, I've been shooting 38spl and I have a finish-challenged 15-4 that will out shoot every handgun I own! My dad has a 67 no dash, too, but I don't have much trigger time...

    Mod. 15-4, mixed bag

I agree with this ^^^ My cosmetically challenged 15-4 is crazy accurate. This statement sums it up perfectly!

Why did S&W even bother with Magna Grips for N-Frames?

I like the look of magnas on most any frame, but I love shooting with targets on 4" and longer models. The shorter barrel lengths, I prefer to shoot with some type of compact Pach or Hogue (but mostly pach). I also tried magnas with the grip adapter and didn't care for it.

    Like Dads old gun.

This is a pic of mine in its case. I plan to get some new lining for it. Mine is serial# AYH233x. It came with tools and paperwork as well.

    Like Dads old gun.

I agree...I have a 29-3 nickel and my case is different, but not nearly in nice shape as the one he posted.
