So I love my M&P40. I want to start shooting at my local events, but have heard that .40 is not the way to go. Is there any truth to this, or could I just sign up and sling some 185 grain? I live in Placer County CA if that makes any difference.
Just push on it a little, mine was the same, with the slide back it clicks right in; but with one in the chamber you have to put just a little pressure to it and you will hear a click. If you can't pull it out with slight tug then it's in there.
So I recently picked up a M&P40 and was told by a buddy I might want to try a few competitions to improve my skills. I have never shot in or even been to a shooting competition. Anyone have any advice?
