    .458 Winchester Magnum Mauser

They are only worth shooting with the big loads. It's a rite of passage for people who love to shoot. Shooting the big guns are more fun when you handle them as well as most handle their pet deer rifle. The price of the ammo is high but how much is gasoline for a hot rod car? You don't get...

    Still need 17-2 wide hammer

    Brownell's might have them.

Please bear w/me on rimfire dry-fire question

Hammer mounted FP: Look at a Colt Diamondback 22 to see a hammer mounted firing pin. Mine has always impressed me. ;)

    Anyone ever loose a Gun

    I don't remember.

    Finally, my first 44 Magnum.

I bought one in the 1960's and it came in a wooden case with the screwdriver and cleaning rod, iirc.

    High Standard Sentinel Deluxe

I think you're better off with what you've got.

An often overlooked collector piece - the FN Browning Model 1922

I have a civilian model of the 1910 made in the 1950's and known as the 1955 in 380 ACP. It's more compact and shoots like a laser beam.

    IMR Powders

IMR 4198 has been a good powder for use in my Colt AR-15s.

An old revolver shooter faces mortality

How much did the powder canister weigh? Are you an elephant hunter, based on your handle?

Is this ammo too collectible to shoot?

I'd shoot that all up and sell the boxes.

Possibly the worst western I have ever seen...

I've been watching the boxed set of Tombstone Territory which ran from '57 to 60 on prime time.

    Vaping

Quit cold turkey quite a few years back. Nope, not for me. You can keep it.

    Proper terminology for slide part?

Disconnector track is what I always called it.

"The Centennials" ad from S&W "Model 640 - a tough little .38 rated for +P ammuniti"

That's the only time I've seen the 940 Model 9mm Centennial mentioned in an ad.
