I bought my 686-1 snub with box for $600 about 5 years ago. Thought it was kind of a lot back then but I would do it all over again. I love that gun.

My 1987 686 doesn't have the M either. I don't plan on getting the mod either.

Thinking of getting a 642 to use as my daily carry. Id like to hear pros and cons from people who have or currently carry them. Obviously a big con is only holding 5 rounds. Thanks, Mike
