I've been looking to take the dive into optic ready pistols, and seeing I have a M&P 2.0 Compact, I'd thought I'd give the new 2.0 Optics Ready pistol a look. Does anyone have one, hows the flat trigger, and what RDS are you using....does it co-witness with the higher suppressor ready sights?
Hi. I'm sorry I don't think my original post was very clear.....I'm looking for sighting options other than the factory 3 dot. I have this model 108482 SW1911 E-Series™ | Smith & Wesson
I just brought my first 1911, a SW1911 E-Series. I like the gun, but my eyes don't pick up 3 dot sights very well. I'm reading this model doesn't have standard 1911 sights. Who makes aftermarket sights for the E-Series? I'd prefer something on the lines of a Orange or yellow front night...
I brought a new S&W no lock 642 last year. I really like the stock S&W black grips that comes on it. I'd like to grab a set for my other revolver(SP101). Does anyone know if this is a factory S&W product, or a rebranded grip from another company. If so....who makes them for S&W?
My uncle just brought a M&P pistol and is looking for some standard capacity mags. I'm shopping around for them but the forum members usually know whee to go. Who currently offers the best deal on them?
He right. If your limited to only 10 rounds, you're going to go with the more powerful round. 9mm is great when you can have 15-17, but when limited to 10.....it changes the game. The 40 will be Yuge again once Klinton wins and passes a new AWB.
I still don't know why S&W insists on putting a feature on their revolvers nobody wants. They don't put the IL on the M&&P pistols or M&P15s. The stupid IL is only on the revolvers. What makes things even more confusing is some J frames have the option of no lock.
Has S&W ever stated why...
Nope they photo it that way on purpose. S&W knows how unpopular the IL is. Thats why if you look on their web site the 442, 642 and 340 they will have the no IL version with a pic of it...as a selling point.
I'd happly buy a new 60 66 or 686 if it didn't have the stupid Hillary hole
Thanks for the info guys. I decided on a standard no lock 442. I liked the PC version but my dealer gave me a good deal on a 442 he had in stock.
Thanks
Product: Model 442
Does this model have the lock?
Hows the DA trigger pull? Is the PC version better then the standard trigger pull?
Whats a fair price for them? My local dealer quoted me $520 plus tax. It seems high.....but I'm not certain
Thanks
To get back on subject do you guys know if the Performance Center Centennials come with the lock? I've seen pics of both locked and no lock, so Im not sure if its an option....or if Im seeing newer and older models
Thanks
Hi guys. I'm curious as to which current production revolvers are lock free. I know of the 340, 642, 442(not sure of the performance center versions though). Am I missing any(classic line maybe)?
Thanks
I bought these mags NIB a few months back. I since sold my pistol and have these mags hanging around. They are like new, and maybe seen 50 round through the 3 of them. THese hold 11 rounds, so I can not sell them to those in mag ban states. I'm asking $35 for the three shipped anywhere in...
