I still don't know why S&W insists on putting a feature on their revolvers nobody wants. They don't put the IL on the M&&P pistols or M&P15s. The stupid IL is only on the revolvers. What makes things even more confusing is some J frames have the option of no lock.
Has S&W ever stated why they continue to make their revolvers with the highly unpopular and unwanted IL???? Until the lock is gone, I'm forced to look at the competition. Which is bothering me because I really want a new, lock free 637 and 64
