    Smith & Wesson Revolvers....10 or 15

I would rather have one mod 15, than TWO mod 10s. I despise fixed sights on anything bigger than a snub Chief's Special.

Let's see some model 15's out there

Please, please, please, no pics with those butt-ugly grip adapters...........I can't help it, I despise those things! Great looking CM's other than the grip adapters, though.

    WTB Avenger holster

I've bought a couple holsters from a new, young holster maker recently, & have been very impressed with his work. First class leather, shipped very quickly, & most reasonable price! One of the holsters I bought was his "Raider", one of two versions of "Avenger" style he offers (different only in...

    S&W 29,629 and other L frames

First, the 629 & 29 are N-frames, not L-frames. As for the S&W OEM wood grips, they haven't been made for quite a while now, so any nice survivors are fetching fairly high prices. Oh, I believe most of the factory wood grips on the big N-frames were Goncalo Alves or walnut.

Should I use magnum primers in a 44Mag

As others have alluded, it's the powder, not the case that determines if you need magnum primers. If at some point you use a powder such as H110, or WW296, then yes, you will need magnum primers, but with faster burn rate powders, standard primers are preferred. Remember too to cut back on...

    Model 18-4 stainless?

I'd like to find a "finish challenged", but mechanically sound model 18 to have hard chromed, but not like that one. IMHO, that one's not worth the bid that's already on it...............

    Which to carry everyday 3" 65-3 or 3" 66-2?

That'd be an easy decision for me. I can't shoot fixed sights for spit, so I'd go with the 66. But, if I was gonna' carry a 3", I'd just go up to a 4". I feel the 3" guns are "tweeners", neither fish nor fowl, & don't much care for them. But that's me............

    TruGlo TFO on M&P 22

I recently bought an M&P22 when PSA dropped the price to $259. I too was disappointed with the sights, couldn't see 'em well enough to shoot with them. I installed a set I had taken off an M&P40. I did have to file a little clearance off the bottom of the sight that extends from the dovetail...

Showing my ignorance with a 4006

I have a 4003 TSW marked Atlanta PD that is decock ony, & marked with the warning that it is decock only. I, & most all who carry a S&W auto, carry it safety off anyway. I don't care about being able to place it on safety for carry, but I do like to activate the safety to hand cycle rounds...

Self-control? Or just plain broke? Or kinda being stupid?

Once upon a time long, long, ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I carried a 669 in a horizontal shoulder holster. Always, carried it. Until one cold December night the caliber failed me. Without going into detail, I emptied one magazine, connecting with all but one shot, with zero effect. Was...

    M&P 15 Sport On-Sale Prices

GunBuyer has them back in stock now. I got an e-mail notification last night, bought one immediately. I didn't need it, but at that price, & no CC fees or shipping, that was a no-brainer for me.
