Bought my first 69 in 2015. Still have and use it. Most accurate 44 I own. What immediately sold me in the LGS was when I picked it up and realized I had a 44 Magnum on a L frame pkg. The 2.75" 69 is nothing to sneeze at either.

After some deliberation and subsequent experimentation I'm running an 8lb Wolff mainspring and a TK custom extended firing pin with accompanying spring and enjoying 100% reliability. Ordered a spare setup and keep the original for the day the springs get tired.

Love this project. Would like to see Smith bring out this model again, but with the SS cylinder like you are using. I'd be back to carrying a K frame again.

Have the K6xs and it has kept me from purchasing another J frame. The 6th 38 round is nice, and the sights shoot a bit high but I use a six o'clock hold with the Kimber.

I love my 4" 69. Most accurate 44 I own. I own an old pre 29 5" and the 69 will outshoot it, not by much but it will. I have VZ grips the smooth ones on mine. Bought mine in 2015, still have it and use it with pleasure. Packing an L frame 44 Mag. is a great deal better than N frames.
