    1955 Chiefs Special Airweight - would you carry it?

    I would put that one up and get a newer one for carry. My EDC is a 638-3. Looks rough from being carried so much, but it will handle +P all day long and I can shoot single action if needed. Just my .02.

    I would keep that gem and sell plasma to get the other gun you want. I let a 4 in 617 go many years ago and regret it to this day.

    S&W 38/44 dad left me

    New here myself, SCSW 4th edition gives 1950-1957 before it was changed to Model 23. I'm sure someone with with way more knowledge than I will be along shortly. My opinion , I would get that one lettered. Hope this helps, Chris
