    Mine has serrations on the front ramp and yes, I tried putting on a set of uncle Mike's boot grips I had and they extended past the frame at the bottom of the grip

    Thanks guys. Yeah, I think I'll leave it alone. I think I have the factory grips for it too. I'll see if I can find them and post a photo of the "Baby"

    Thanks again. Both my guns are 38 special as is the incoming barrel which is tapered. On a side note, I've noticed the pachmayr grips cause a clearance issue for the hammer when cooking into single action
