Yup, it has the red illuminated center dot. It's also mounted in their deluxe mount as well. I'll let you know how it goes when I shoot it this weekend.
I have one of the primary arms 1-4x24 scopes on my M&P 15-22, but I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Compared to my Trijicon that's on my AR, it's not quite as clear. But it's still plenty clear enough for a .22 rifle. For the money I think it's great. I'll hopefully get to shoot it...
On sockets and other metal parts you can use enamel paint and it'll last longer. Just brush it into the recesses and then when it's dry, wipe the excess off with a rag and some acetone. Works great, I use it on my golf clubs.
