that I tried it out on my Harbor Freight impact sockets. The wife was not that impressed but I'm sure I can find something of hers to spruse up.

Ok, maybe I've got too much time on my hands... God let summer come soon!

Hmm that does look really good, thats brilliant lol I'm going to start pondering about some new applications for this trick other then my rifle

On sockets and other metal parts you can use enamel paint and it'll last longer. Just brush it into the recesses and then when it's dry, wipe the excess off with a rag and some acetone. Works great, I use it on my golf clubs.

I did this w/regular old spray paint on my sockets. Spray into the recesses and wipe off the overspray while wet. Still works.
