    I went with the Alien Gear 2.0. I'm not thin but it wears well.

    Sheild Recoil spring

    I was having a hard time locking the slide back, but now after 350 rnds it is getting easier. I've also have broken it down about a dozen times which may contribute to loosening it up.

    Dry fire and drawing from concealment. Take formal training somewhere.

    love my shield

    Just put some Talon grips on my 9mm Shield. Also just got an Alien Gear IWB holster. I have to admit the holster is as advertised. Feels like a heavy wallet, but not uncomfortable. I recommend it. For TangoCharlie, we served in the Navy in the same era, I was in '70-'92(AVCM).

    Right now its whatever is available to buy, either at the Walmart/Gun shops or online.
