    With the Ruger you need to add in another $50 for Altamont old style grips or find a used pair for sale. The Hogue grips on the Ruger are an abomination.

    I have an K22 with the 8 3/8 barrel that I have had since I was a teenager. I'm thinking I would like to have it cut down to 6". Will S&W cut it down, recrown, and install new sight, or do they just perform action job gunsmithing only?
