    OZ Revolvers in USA ?

I was in the local shop today and overheard the sales guy talking about a pistol that was marked with something about New South Wales. I just assumed Webley but walked over to check it out. It was a 2.5 inch, squared butt model 10 in very good condition. Only wear was of the holster variety...

    Model 10 S&W Shah Stamped

I have seen one..only one of these Smith & Wesson Shah marked revolvers. I remember many Iranian trainees at Keesler AFB in the 60's. We were selling the Shah fighters, training pilots and support aircrewmen. I would think that the Smith revolvers that were contracted to Iran were top...

    Model 1917 commercial

I really appreciate the feedback on the serial number range. I found one example that was from 1926 and the one I posted about was a bit earlier in range. Rick, I did post one pic but you will see this one in person in the near future.

I snagged a nice Smith Model 1917 today. The SN#177898 is on bottom of grip frame, barrel, ejector and cylinder. Barrel marked S.&W. D.A. 45. Small logo on left side frame. The S34 inspector stamp is on barrel, S2 on yoke. The grips are checkered diamond, no medallion and the right grip is...

    Model 19 in pawn shop.

Rick, The blued one is still there. This one has a plain nickel front sight and no outline on the blued rear sight.

    Model 19 in pawn shop.

I am kind of slow but I did go back for the Model 19-3, nickel plated. It is sn#9K178XX. I cleaned up very nicely. It has the Pachmar grips. The pawn shop had some scratch off cards and the one I got gave me a $25 discount so I brought the revolver home for $312 OTD.

    Model 19 in pawn shop.

They are still there. The nickel one has wrap around rubber grips but does have the target hammer and trigger. It has a few minor scratches on the left side of the frame. The blued one shows more wear but does have the original grips.
