I know we have guitar players here

For electrics, I use Ernie Ball. I use their Beefy Slinkies on my Strat, though I'd prefer if they were nickel-wound instead of nickel-plated. I've used D'Addario strings on my Strat and liked them, but I can't remember which ones specifically. The one thing I can say about them is that they...

I know we have guitar players here

I've used them on a Takamine. They were my favorite acoustic guitar strings.

    Frozen Dinners

    Duly noted.

    Frozen Dinners

Vegetarians don't eat meat, but may eat egg or dairy products. Vegans don't eat any animal products. I'm not a vegan.

    Frozen Dinners

Because it's relevant to my choice of foods. Not everyone is vegetarian, so my preferences might not suit them. What's irrelevant is someone complaining about it.

    Frozen Dinners

May not apply since I'm a vegetarian, but most of my favorites are from Amy's Kitchen. In no particular order... Country Cheddar Bowl Broccoli and Cheddar Bake Bowl Pad Thai Cheese Enchillada Meal Marie Callendar's Plant-Based Pot Pies I also like Amy's Kitchen's frozen burritos. When I...

    Cicada Mania!

Got to experience a cicada brood emergence about 10 years ago. Not a pleasant experience. Constantly brushing them off me. Clouds of them everywhere. It was like driving in a hail storm. There was one local candy shop that was catching them and serving them dipped in chocolate. Ick.

NAA 22 Thwarts Armed BLM Thugs

Maybe not. The protesters were armed. I think that changes the dynamic.

MILLENNIAL'S HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS!!!

I've had good customer service experiences and I've had bad customer service experiences. Over the phone, I couldn't tell if they were millenials or not. In person, I've had good experiences with millenials and bad experiences with boomers. Maybe you shouldn't judge an entire generation based...

    Small of back Holsters

I'd rather have a bruised hip than dislocated vertebrae. And even if you don't care about falling on your back-holstered gun, there are still plenty of negatives, as mentioned. Obviously, you can do what you want, but when the advice you sought is overwhelmingly in the "don't do it" camp, you...

    Small of back Holsters

Probably because the majority of cops don't carry that way, especially in a big city police department. I've never seen it. Even in plainclothes the ones I've seen wear strong-side. It may be more relevant to ask your friends and family if they've seen lumbar injuries where someone fell on...

    Small of back Holsters

I can't recommend it. There are just so many negatives. Falling on it can result in serious back injuries. Will print like crazy if you bend over. If your cover garment rides up it could expose the gun and you wouldn't know it unless someone tells you. If it does get exposed or prints and...

How noticeable will it be with lightweight j frame

It can. The recoil shoulder on the 442 goes higher than the 36/637. That would allow you to grip the gun higher, which can reduce muzzle flip compared to gripping it like you would a 36. However, there are two negatives to that. First, unless you have grips where the horns go all the way up...

    Help! Broken hammer...

It happened to my 65-3. I couldn't find a replacement nose anywhere and ended up taking it to a local gunsmith who had them, but would only install them himself. Cost me $50. If you can't find an OEM replacement, I think Ron Power makes aftermarket replacement noses for some models. I've seen...
