To those, like me, that consume them often, what are your five favorites?
I know that there are those that would die before eating one or would have to be starving. I am not asking for your info, just trying to see if there are some good ones that I have missed. Thank you!
My five in the order that I like them:
Stouffers Escalloped Chicken and Noodles
Marie Callenders Sweet and Sour Chicken
Stouffers Classic Meat Loaf and mashed potatoes
Stouffers Spaghetti and Meat Sauce
Stouffers Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Just for information, Libby's has individual microwavable servings of carrots, green beans, corn, peas and combo peas and carrots. They come in a four pack.

Thanks for your input!

May not apply since I'm a vegetarian, but most of my favorites are from Amy's Kitchen.

In no particular order...

Country Cheddar Bowl
Broccoli and Cheddar Bake Bowl
Pad Thai
Cheese Enchillada Meal
Marie Callendar's Plant-Based Pot Pies

I also like Amy's Kitchen's frozen burritos.

When I still ate meat, my go-to frozen dinners were the Hungry Man turkey dinner and Boston Market's Salisbury steak dinner.

How does the Stouffers Meat Loaf taste?

I eat these two a lot. About all I can say about them is they will make you less hungry, and I've not died form one yet.

I have not eaten Frozen Dinners since i was about 11 or 12 (back then Swanson Turkey dinners are what I ate). During the height of the Pandemic last spring I did have a few frozen pizza's from DiGiorno. After not having real pizza for months, the DiGiorno tased half way descent but not really a substitute for the real deal.

Trader Joe's has a bunch of very good frozen foods, all of these are better than the comparable TV dinners:

fettuccine Alfredo, orange chicken, pot stickers,
five cheese nochi,
country potatoes with wild mushrooms and verts,
several varieties of macaroni and cheese,
meatballs,
lasagna,
and a bunch of frozen seafood.

I'd much rather have Trader Joe's frozen dinners than anything by Stoufers or Marie Callener. Ironically, Trader Joe's is less expensive than traditional grocery store frozen dinners per portion.

I ate them only when on the hunting lease - they're a very good way to loose weight, especially if you use the Banquet brand, because just a few bites is all a human can stand. We call it frozen road kill.

My mom (now 89) would cook Banquet Frozen fried chicken when I was a teenager and say she fried it. It wasn't bad and she really is a better cook, but people do and say funny things!

My wife started making Lasagna in bread pans for a two person serving. A full batch makes 5 bread pans and they are frozen. So I guess my favorite frozen dinner is Diane's Low Carb Lasagna (uses zucchini instead of pasta!)

I know this doesn't help you out, but I just gots to brag!

I've eaten some that were decent, but in my experience there is one thing common to all frozen dinners(maybe someone here knows of an exception, but I haven't yet found one): the picture on the front looks significantly, if not vastly, more attractive and appetizing than what's in the box.

Regards,
Andy

I'm not vegetarian but I really like Amy's dinners. Taste good and not a bunch of artificial stuff.

If there was a Trader Joe's close to me I'd probably never cook.
I miss the little skinny frozen green beans.

That's me now but back in the day, I'd check the nutritional info and get whatever seemed to have a reasonable protein to calorie ratio.
It's been a while but Lean Cuisine comes to mind.
