I too remember the "touchy feely" Navy when a Petty Officer would box your ears for some offense or other. We even had a Bosun who had a "Starter" anyone remember them? Not to steal this thread, but what is the correct reaction to a crowd blocking the interstate destroying your car and beating up the occupants? I am too old to take a whipping and I certainly won't allow someone to touch my wife! I know what I would do how about you other guys?
