    Anyone like to shoot 32-20?

It's a pleasure to shoot in a revolver, giving you noticeably less recoil than a 38 Special while still giving a decent amount of power. But its going to be expensive unless you reload. And you'll want to watch that what you shoot, factory or reloads, isn't too hot for the gun.

Looking to get educated on non-appendix IWB holsters

I imagine I have considerably less experience than many of the respondents, but my two cents: I use a Kydex holster that clips so it's relatively easy to put on and take off (Rounded by Concealment Express). I wear it SOB for a palm-out draw.

How do you actually enjoy a Magnum caliber revolver?

In my youth I shot model 19, 27, and 57 Smiths as well as Blackhawks in 357, 41 and 44 (and stupidly hot 45). I shot full power factory or reloads because that was the point. Knee surgery and Elmer Keith

All of the above recommendations are good. "The Accurate Rifle" by Warren Page is also a good read.

What was your first Smith and Wesson??

Being an avid reader I was heavily influenced by Skeeter Skelton when I was a youngster so in 1975 bought a new model 19 6 inch with target hammer, trigger and stocks. Chronically limited finances meant anything new to me required letting something else go, so its long gone.

    Howdy

New to the forums, been shooting for 50+ years. In my formative years I was heavily influenced by Skeeter Skelton, my first center-fire purchase was a 6" model 19 back in the 70s.
