I guess two moons is impatient. I own 2 S&W model 627-0's. One of them has "model of 1989", flash chromed .500 target trigger and .400 smooth target hammer. The other one I own has a case hardened trigger with trigger stop, case hardened trigger and doesn't have the "model of 1989" on the right...

What model name / number What is the model name or number for that holster? How much was it? I have a 5.5" S&W 627-0 that needs a duty holster.

I have the same exact thing. A 627-0 with no rollmark of "model of 1989" on it. Mine has Hogue monogrips. Same thing. It's a 627-0, but no model of 1989 on it. My Serial # is BEK65??

I was replacing the front sight in my 627-0 with Meprolight night sights...which I have done about 4 times before with out a hitch. Well I drilled out the sight while in the barrel and the bit snapped off part way inside. The bit is flush with the far side of the barrel. I didn't have any more...
