    610 IS Back !!

I would think S&W would put it in the M&P line first to try and cut into G20 sales. And considering they probably sell more M&P's than any N-frame revolver. Actually I'd rather they do that.

My Beloved 4” 586ND going to a new home

My brothers wouldn't cross the street to spit on me if I was on fire. This is awesome, and some beautiful 586's.

The Smith with the most versatility...

As much as I love K-frames...my answer for 'most versatile' is a 4" 686. Hands down.

Any Wheel Guns in the Holster's of LEO's today.

Fairbanks PD uses either a Glock 21 or 20. I can't remember which. Edit- quite a few of the tribal "officers" I saw carried a revolver of some type.

    Anyone Like Police Revolvers?

I have one. A 64-5. Even though I generally dislike fixed sight revolvers, I bought it for a steal and originally intended for it to be a project. It just sits in the safe taking up room. I'd have no qualms with getting another PD trade in, assuming I got to go over it before hand.

Can you see which generation 686 it is on my high res images?

That is a round butt frame. Looks like it's been shot quite a bit, with hot 125gr rounds, by looking at the forcing cone and the flame cutting. The forcing cone is a fairly straightforward fix by a competant gunsmith. Usually flame cutting is self limiting. Meaning, it'll only go so far, and...

    New M&P release

I was really hoping for around 5" overall height with the 4" barrel. This is nothing more than their older "midsize" 45.

What are all the Scandium frame revolvers?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but those are aluminum and not scandium. Right?
