I have removed the old plastic “bumper” to mount on sigs in the past. Tried a A model with the removed bumper and that also didn’t work. So it sounds like filing will be the only bet then?

Add 8810 to the list. One thing I saw interesting is the markings under the grip it appears they labeled it twice then laser marked over the top with the serial number. Never seen that on any other tsw.

A likely answer would be it was a FOF (force on force pistol) at some point ( this would explain the refinish). Maybe yellow gun was a now defunct company that did the conversion to sim or something that a armorer put on the pistol ironically.

Got my order in today. For those of you looking for a duty holster for this it’s gonna be the safariland 6360-4302-481 that’s a light bearing basket weave with a TLR-1HL.

The safariland 6360-4302-481 made for the molded in pic rail to accept a TLR-1. Did a lot of research to make sure this was right when I wanted the “correct” duty holster for mine. BTW they are hard to find and cannot be ordered from safariland. Galls has two in stock but they are not...

Have a 4 digit serial number 1997 P99 and love it. Got 16 round mags for it and for the size 16+1 is a lot. One note is I carry it IWB and the finish tarnished after the 2nd time carrying it. Oh well recommend them. I always as the SW99 just being a cheaper P99 clone.

For all wondering this will not be repaired, there is no need I have already got another CHP pistol. The parts from this pistol have went into a 5946TSW.
