Please forgive me for reviving an old thread, but with all you SW22 owners in here, I thought this might be the best place to ask a question.
I'm looking for the specs to the screw for the front sight? I thought it was a M4, but it's got finer threads and I don't have anything to compare it...

As I own both of these cannons as well as many other 44 mags. I would have to advise you get the 629 competitor, much more $$$ but worth it. After that, the Ruger Super Blackhawk would be another excellent choice. Although it's single action only, it's a slick shooting revolver.

ATI just came out with a new rail a while ago and it's nice, it's less than most posted and you can mount rails wherever you want as it has 8 rows, every 45 degrees around the handguard. I just put one on a 20" build and it feels great and works. They have them in all different sizes as well...
Get a hornady perfect powder measure, it works much better than anything Lee has. I use one on my loadmaster and it works great. You don't loose hardly any powder with it. I lost so much with the micro-disk even with the adjustable bar installed.
