How much lube are you using and how clean is the gun? Make sure the new gun doesn't have any debris or burs in it that may interfere with slide movement.
Is the hammer falling?
What does the round look like? Has the rim been hit firmly?

I shoot steel challenge here in the U.S. and that's what I thought the problem was when I first read your headline. I've broken two and seen several others.
