I picked up a 442 recently as well. I owned a 642 a few years ago and stupidly sold it. They had both models when I went to get another one. The black one was calling. They both had locks so not much I could do there but I just ground down the nub on the locking flag last night to disable it.

Winner.. Its very easy to grind the nub, just did mine.. No possible chance of locking and no holes to fill.. Maybe I'll even fill the external key hole with epoxy so there is no question that the lock is disabled..

Same here, very minimal. I cant stand toting around a bunch of junk in my pockets.. I Don't carry at work,working out, running,snowboarding, ect.. Some ppl are crazy about carrying, I swear they'd carry a gun while swimming if they could... except mines a 442. Id have a 340pd JUST to save...

Just scored the high horn version in the classifieds for 45 bucks. Can't wait to try them out.
