I have been lucky enough to find a Number 1 at a decent price and recently bought what I believe is a Number 2.
I am sure about the Number 1 and fairly certain about the Number 2.
It is in 23 rimfire and is a tip up.
It looks like a slightly larger version of the Number 1.
I took out my 36-6 and looked down the bore and I was pleasantly surprised there is no damage to the bore!
The exterior ain’t pretty and the cylinder suffered some loss of metal so I ordered a parts kit to replace the cylinder and save me some time and work cleaning the small parts.

I was going to try to find another barrel and make it a shooter but with that small number I doubt that a barrel is available.
I will have to look into sleeving the original or make a custom full lug barrel...
