I brought the gun to the shop I purchased the apex kit from they checked the pull weight it measured 9.8 which is better than the 12 plus that it was prior to apex parts but still not acceptable the Smith at the shop took it all apart and installed another kit they had on the shelf measured...

My question is this, between 165 grain and 180 grain 40s@w is there a noticeable difference in felt recoil

My only reason for adding apex parts is I live in mass and to be mass compliant they must have a10.5 pound trigger pull and as one poster previously said it's like trying to pull a brick with your pinky

Due to living in mass my fun has a 10.5 pound trigger other than the pull weight I don't really have any complaints all I want to do is get the pull to around 5 what's my best option

What grain ammo do you shot out of an m@p 40 full size. I prefer 165 grain but shoot more accurate and consistent groups with 180 grain

What size grip are you using I don't by any means have large hands and with the small grip with very little movement of my thumb on strong hand I can easily hit mag release on my fs40
