I'm not 100% sure on how that works but I do know that another local gun shop had a used shield for sale that already had the apex trigger installed and also came with a crossbreed holster and the only reason I chose not to purchase that particular firearm was they were actually asking 75$ more...
So I finally added a shield 40 to my small family of m@ps it joins it's big brother the full size 40 picked it up Thursday after work unfortunately was to late at that point to get to the range but I was able to get there today. Super impressed with how manageable the felt recoil is in such a...
I brought the gun to the shop I purchased the apex kit from they checked the pull weight it measured 9.8 which is better than the 12 plus that it was prior to apex parts but still not acceptable the Smith at the shop took it all apart and installed another kit they had on the shelf measured...
I stripped the gun down examined everything I could think might be creating the hard trigger pull and couldn't find anything noticeable to me I'm going to take it to the shop I bought the apex kit from and have there Smith take a look I'll post the outcome when I know what's going on
I have a full size 40 Mass compliant where the trigger pull measured 12.2# I finally was able to get the apex duty kit and installed it the other day the install went smooth with just a few references to the you tube video and now I will say the grittiness is gone but I'm not impressed with the...
I can't shoot consistently with my fs m@p40 mass compliant version 10 pound trigger I'm not trying to shoot fast just accurate and consistent I've done the burwell diy trigger work but still have a very heavy pull not gritty but heavy is there anything I can practice that will help with my hands...

I'm not a Leo but I wanted to give a thank you and show my appreciation for those who are and are on this forum although what I do as an armed guard is no comparison to the dangers you all gave every day I do have a sense of the risk you take every time you leave your home with...
My only reason for adding apex parts is I live in mass and to be mass compliant they must have a10.5 pound trigger pull and as one poster previously said it's like trying to pull a brick with your pinky
Due to living in mass my fun has a 10.5 pound trigger other than the pull weight I don't really have any complaints all I want to do is get the pull to around 5 what's my best option
First off let me apologize for my stupidity. I realize this prob isn't the rite spot for this question but can someone please explain how to put a picture up
What size grip are you using I don't by any means have large hands and with the small grip with very little movement of my thumb on strong hand I can easily hit mag release on my fs40
