    WD40

From what I have read (roll eyes here) if WD-40 ever does gum up, you can re-spray the gun and the fouling/old WD/old oils melt away instantly. Since I have never seen WD gum up, I cant attest to that statement. DR

    WD40

When it first came out, WD-40 was all we used for guns. Guess what? I still have those same guns. They were sprayed LIBERALLY inside and out, then left to drip dry barrel DOWN. Then put in a wooden gun cabinet. A while back I pulled a 870 Rem shot gun that hadn't been removed from that cabinet...

    stripes in barrel

I have been down this road, the only thing that I have found to remove the copper stripes easy and well is to use Break Free Bore Foam, fill the bore and plug both ends. Let sit an hour or three, brass brush out, repeat if needed. Lots of time and brush work if the gun is heavily laden. If not...

    Is It Really Too Big?

Being a hunter, I have seriously been thinking of laying a 500 away. I own a 44mag and the 500 would really be a sweet addition collection wise and in the woods. For the owners.....just how much more recoil (I know it's suggestive) difference is there in the 44mag 8.3" and the 500 8.3"? FWIW...

    Reloading for new SD9VE

Really.... Tell my SD40VE that, after over 1,000 rounds without a SINGLE hiccup..... he just may disagree! I consider it to be just what it was made for: a great little gun at a great little price. Self Defense Value Enhanced. DR

    Truck gun

Truck Gun Hi Point JHP 45acp. Cheap, ugly, shoots dang near as well as my EAA  ....and if it goes byby, I've lost very little. Of course, this gun only allows you time to get to the real gun, the 12 pump. ;) DR

    Shield factory casing

The CCI Aluminum Blazer is dang good plinking ammo. SUPER accurate in several calibers I have tried: 380, 9mm, 40, 45, 357mag, 44mag. For guys that do not reload, like me, it's a nice inexpensive alternative. DR

    .22 Shortage

I heard from a family member who works in a sporting goods retail chain, that the chain caught their own "suppliers?" cutting their delivery/delivered orders way down and keeping the ammo for their own to sell for profit. Meaning.....these middle men, were taking ammo that the store ordered...
