Here it is, I can read the text on the top of the barrel maybe. But need magnification to do so.

Its a 38 cal double action revolver. Its an antique because versions with a SN under 382022 are pre 1899. Its pretty rough shape - if it works properly, I would say its value is $200 to $250.

If that. There's not much original finish left. I'd say $200 would be about tops, if in shootable condition. But the fact that it is a BATFE antique might entice someone to pay a little more for it. These are very common revolvers, so no collector interest.

No need to be pardoned by me, DR. I posted that line at the top of my previous post to alert the mods to move the thread to the appropriate section which lo and behold, is what happened. Sorry that I confused you!
