Did a Google search for "revolver butt plate with sheriff's star marked WSP". Western Stage Props was the first result. (See below.) Still looking for confirmation. Until then... still just an entity of interest.

While I have yet to confirm this, yet, I may have located the source of these revolver butt plates with an Old West Sheriff's / Marshal's star. Check this out... WSP are the initials of 'Western Stage Props' in Las Vegas, Nevada.
