Actually a can of bee spray can be entertaining when used with the companion tool of a propane torch. A fresh can works best. Jim

That dealer had a real nice 17-2 with just a faint turn line in a box for $695. Since I just bought one a couple of months ago I didn't think the fun police would go for another.

Thanks, I have a Bianchi for my Model 19, the 17 fit is a little loose. Even though both are K frames the 17 is slimmer in the cylinder. Maybe it is worn/stretched a little. Thanks for the help. Jim

Recently purchased 17-3, great shooter. Now If I could just find a holster that fits it.

Need a holster for a 6" model 17, the generic K frame holsters are all for a .357 and they just don't fit the gun securely. Anyone have any advice? I tried West Woods Landing, they make a nice nylon holster and I have one for a Bersa auto but they are not making them lined any longer and I am...

Well, here's the gun that started this thread. 17-3. Also came with the original grips, no box. A little bluing wear on the muzzle due to the Hunter leather holster. Having a little difficulty chasing down a holster, is a 617 close enough in size that a holster for it will work? Thanks. Jim

Hook an electric fence charger to the gate. PITA to insulate everything from ground but watching it all happen on a trail-cam will be worth the effort. Solar/battery powered chargers work but AC powered provide a better life lesson. Jim
