    Pocket carry and sitting.

Serious reply. May say "gun" to you, as it does to me. We are not the average public. I have worn mine with a .45 XDS for a couple of months and have had no issues. If this is open carry enough to defer a bad guy, then so be it. He doesn't bother me, then I go about my day. It is...

M&P thumb safety: why I think it's a excellent safety feature

There is just too much at stake. If you have to draw, any safety can be undone during that action. All around just good.

Ok, I'll bite. How is drawing from your belt any riskier than leaning back, straightening your leg, acting like you are having a seizure, to draw your gun? Get one. You will find it is very comfortable and accessible. They look good too. Next best thing to open carry.

    Neighborhood watch story follow-up

Who says a neighborhood patrol is "playing cop"? You have the ability to make the decision to be involved or not, and if being armed in Texas in a patrol is illegal, then don't be in it. You have total control over your actions and if you can and want to be involved in an area where you can be...

Drew My S&W 625-5 Colt 45 Last Night

No better outcome could have happened by any other actions. Period.

Get a Sneaky Pete holster and carry in plain sight. If you are in a booth in a restaurant, you can be ready if approached without hardly moving. I love mine.

    Neighborhood watch story follow-up

My first point is, I guess I don't get Photoman 44's point. Anyone shooting someone while on neighborhood patrol whether as part of a watch group or walking their dog, will come under scrutiny. Just because citizen patrols may be CCW holders does not mean it is the wild west. If they report...

    380 Bodyguard Vs Ruger LCP

Thoughts? I just picked up a 380 Bodyguard with an insight laser. I know this is a S&W forum. I compared the two. The S&W was a few dollars cheaper (not a decision maker on it's own) but with the thumb safety and the built in double strike capability, I chose it over the Ruger. Don't get...

    Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accessories"

With a new (August) CCW, I picked up a S&W 380 Bodyguard two days ago as a companion to my Springfield XDS.

Curious about what local laws you have to deal with ?

In Nebraska, we have this handgun background check card. You go to the Sherrifs office, apply, pay your $5 and wait a week. Once you have the card, you can purchase handguns and walk out the store with them. Without it, there is a waiting period. If you have a CCW, that takes the place of the...

    New

This thing has come around in a hurry. Took it and my Springer out the other weekend and compared to this S&W my Springer is spraying all over the place. Has spent a week at the gunsmiths, and am shooting it today. He says it should be better. This Smith is right on and consistant. I...
